Members meet 3 times a week during the summer for a ride out usually ending up at one of the islands 27 beaches. And with nearly 500 kilometers of roads and lanes, the rides aren't as you might have expected . . clockwise one week, anticlockwise the next!
Being so close to France (less than two hours by boat), many members often take trips to the European mainland. In the last few years we have been out in force and covered France, Andorra, Spain, Switzerland, Austria and Germany.
There's plenty happening on the Island too and the Chapter has organized a number of events to raise funds for local charity.
The Guernsey Chapter was formed in 1996 with 15 members. Today there are 78 members which is pretty good for an island in the English Channel covering only 40 square kilometers.
